The subject matters of this little book are to express, document and illustrate from the emotions of the heart, the words of intensions from the head’s institution to the description of the members extremities. The goal is to assemble the invisible inspiration on the roadway with the signs of mankind’s food heritage, the economical curves of the landscape and the political poles supporting our daily bread. Painting the picture of the desert, forest, crop, garden, kitchen, table and the spoon for food sake, that we so desperately need to ensure posterity to come.
The Cuisine Everlasting is a small collection of records in attempt to give a voice of the nose that knows the palate of one’s geographical position.Life is for giving the love known to be received from on high, in everyone and in everything. The concordance in the vital mutual relationship that we share with creation in nature is universal. The collaboration must be acknowledged, assumed, respected and adopted as the bond, the implant, the crafted branch bridging life before and after us.
Culture is the language of the words from the tongue and palate’s appetite; it represents the identity of food, the impact of the growing location and plants on the final flavor of dishes and drinks. The terroir’s seeds passed on through the ages.
Better have something good to say and good to eat for the guests to be well pleased, accepting joyfully to be served by the good host and the household; showing openly who one is, where one lives and what one does to be wholesome as it can possibly be, and it better be.
Foraging, fishing and hunting are also part of supply chain, ethically not for forging, poaching, or decimating but for multiplying and prospering the heritage to inherit.
It is a matter of repeated education to each new generation, follow the seasonal order, know what is grown locally, which ingredients are indigenous to the region.
Add on innovation, current modern creations to renovate the call of nature and society partnership, where and when.
