I have been a freelance writer and furniture maker for over three decades. My wife; Marie works as an administrative assistant in town. We live on a mountain-side acreage with our two dogs. We moved from St Louis MO. to the Great Smoky Mountains in 2001 to begin our pursuit of simplicity.
The articles offered in the Blog Posts pages are snippets of our journey and discoveries we have made along the way. We hope you will find them entertaining as well as informative. Many of the thoughts I share work just as well for city dwellers as for rural folk.
